The Menu

The Classic Menu — Available every week (apart from the monthly menu change). Think staple sourdough loaves, classic cookies, and buttery scones that you can count on.

Monthly Seasonal Menu — Once a month, the menu shifts to reflect the season. I build these offerings around what local fruits and vegetables are at their peak, so you'll find things like seasonal fruit scones, sourdough with garden-fresh herbs, or produce-inspired inclusions. It keeps things exciting and lets me bake with the freshest ingredients Loudoun County has to offer.

A Few Notes

Allergens: I bake in a home kitchen that handles wheat flour, dairy, and eggs. If you have specific allergy concerns, please let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Sourdough is a living thing: Because my bread is naturally leavened with no commercial yeast, each loaf has its own personality. That's the beauty of real sourdough!

Cottage Food Law: Lilacs From Scratch operates under Virginia's Cottage Food Law, which means all goods are prepared in a home kitchen not subject to retail food establishment inspection.

How to Order

Step 1: See What's Available

Instagram is the best place for this! The classic LFS menu is pinned to my profile and I share any seasonal offerings there at @lilacsfromscratch. This is the best place to see what I'm baking.

Step 2: Place Your Order

Because everything is handmade in small batches, orders are placed in advance. Here's how the weekly schedule works:

Order window: Thursday at 10am through Saturday at 6pm

Baked fresh: The following week

Pickup or delivery: The following Saturday

Step 3: Pickup or Delivery

Delivery — I offer local delivery within Loudoun County. Delivery availability and minimums vary, so just ask and I'll let you know if I can bring your order to you.

Pickup — I'm based in Leesburg, VA, and offer contactless porch pickup. The address and pickup instructions are shared once your order is placed.
